Mack finished his championship in June of 2002.

Mack is a very special dog.  We learned about the conformation dog show world together.  He came into my life as a little black bundle of fur, when my mentor Rusty Cromer decided to take a chance on me.   Luckily Mack had the patience to stick with me while I learned, and we both met some wonderful friends along the way.

One of our friends is Judy Stachowski, who taught me a lot about grooming while she easily put on Mack's remaining points, including that last major.  Thanks Judy, for your excellent grooming and handling of my lovely boy.

Mack is mostly retired now, except for those few shows that we go to play at.  We're also hoping to do a little performance this year by finishing his CD (he needs one more leg) and possibly a Rally Title or two.

Mack was not used often as a stud, but we are very proud of his son, MACH9 Summerlove's Gabriel V BonJon HS, RN, U-AGII, owned by Daniel McDonald and bred by April Dunford & Lorrie Reed of Summerlove Shelties.  I admit, I have to look at their website often to try to catch up on how many MACH's he's up to!!
